Kazan the Swiss Team has landed !

Kazan the Swiss Team has landed !

https://www.swiss-skills.ch/fr/team/visiteurs-kazan-2019/welcome-event-a-kloten/

Beautiful Kazan and nice people!

Beautiful Kazan and nice people!

Yesterday I enjoyed beautiful Kazan !
The people are very friendly, the communication sometimes a little difficult since I do not speak Russian 😀
I ate tartar dishes which was a great experience – it was good and tasted original- with a lot of herbs from the prairie. Just some relaxing day before all the preparation starts .
Regards Sabina

Sending Material und Last Training is long over – we are ready!

Sending Material und Last Training is long over – we are ready!

Hello Everybody
The final countdown is almost over !
The last weeks where packed with a lot of work.
On my side:
Perfecting and discussing the last assessmentcriterias on the forum …
Amélia study and wrote down all that she has to remember. Last things trained – evaluation Modul for example.

We met with the Swiss team to load the material which went by truck to Russia – we from health and social care only packed small stuff…

We are ready ! Looking forward to the final step of the big adventure WorldSkills Kazan .

Thank you to everyone and all the institutions and sponsors for the support.

I wish Amélia not luck ( she only needs a little..😀) but the power to show what you can do ! You came a long way and I am sure you will give your best !
I thank you for the enthusiasm, the endurance to walk the extra mile and your joy to depart on this great adventure! I am glad to coach you and walk beside you – with Gerhard .

Regards Sabina

Stay tuned – I will fly to Kazan today – two days of relaxation before the preparation 😀

4 countries – Training in Lichtenstein

4 countries – Training in Lichtenstein

We have planned it quite a while and on Friday it was finally the time when we all travelled to Lichtenstein and Sargans.

Katharina the expert from Lichtenstein and Lena the competitor gave us a warm welcome and great hospitality!

The training location was very good, with a lot of material and great patient rooms.

On Saturday we started with an introduction round and then the training started. The competitors played actors too, which was a good experience for them.

We had high visit on Saturday: Irina Tuor – Gold medal winner Worldskills 2017 – came and supported us. It was great help that she came and fun to see her.

In the evening we enjoyed a great invitation by Worldskills Lichtenstein , with the company of Stefan Soler and a very good dinner. We had some time for laughter and to exchange thoughts.

On Saturday we had a little competition between the competitors. All competitors well done 👍: Lena, Amélia, Brandol, Vivien you are ready for the final countdown!

Thank you all the experts: Gerhard, Christoph, Marcela, Katharina! And to the translator Patricia a big thank you 😊

And a BIG “thank you” to Worldskills Lichtenstein, Katharina and Lena for the organization of the Training, for all the Food and warm hospitality.

The two days where great fun and a excellent experience!

Regards Sabina and Team Switzerland

Training 4th/5th May

Training 4th/5th May

Exclusive from the training !
Picture from the training !

The Training on the 4th and 5th May where great.

We started with a theory block by Gerhard – thank you for the good preparation.

First day Laurence Fournier helped us at being an actor- thank you very much !

Then Amélia practised to draw some posters. Quite a challenging task.

Second day Lionel Engel helped us with being an actor – thank you very much for being part in our adventure!

Without the actors we could not do quite a realistic training. Helping patient to move was one topic, but also palliative care.

Thank you for the great training locations at the ORTRASSVS.

regards Sabina
